Karin Wagner’s creations are produced in her studio in the suburb of St. Johann, Basel. Part of the diligent work is carried out by women’s cooperations in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic and Egypt that Karin has established.
She trains the women in textile processing, this also has the added benefit of keeping traditional handwork techniques from disappearing. From high quality natural materials such as finest alpaca wool from Bolivia, delicate products are accurately created.
The individual creations are assembled, combined and refined as the finished item exclusively in Karin’s studio in Basel.
With fare wages she provides her employees to a life of independents.
